The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), which has members in 58 countries, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters.
The Oceania Council covers includes Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Guam and the Polynesian nations; serving its members by providing information, networking and professional opportunities, and to advance the emergency management profession. The IAEM offers the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Credential, recognised internationally as the premier professional qualification in emergency management.
